By using PetroMind, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and related policies. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Description of Services

PetroMind provides an AI-powered platform for petroleum engineering professionals to interact with AI models, generate summaries, and create MCQ assessments. The admin dashboard provides analytics, subscription management, user controls, and database monitoring.

3. Account Creation & Management

• Users must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
• Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
• Admins may adjust balances or assign free credits to users.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse or policy violations.

4. Acceptable Use

• Services are provided for professional and educational purposes in petroleum engineering.
• Users must not submit illegal, abusive, or rights-infringing content.
• Reverse engineering, redistribution, or attempting to disable security measures is strictly prohibited.
• Users must comply with intellectual property and anti-fraud laws.

5. Fees & Payments

• Subscription plans are displayed with name, price, credits, and duration.
• Costs are calculated based on tokens consumed in chats and MCQs, with minimum charges per session.
• Users must maintain a positive account balance.
• Payments are processed via external providers (e.g., Stripe).
• Payments are non-refundable once services are used, except where legally required.
• Pricing and plans may change, with prior notice of significant changes.

6. Cancellation & Termination

• Users may cancel subscriptions anytime via account settings.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts in case of policy violations or legal requirements. Upon termination, access is revoked, and data may be deleted in line with the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, software, and materials are owned by PetroMind or its licensors. Users are granted no ownership rights beyond necessary usage.

8. Disclaimer

Services are provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, availability, or fitness for purpose. AI-generated content is for reference only and does not constitute professional advice. PetroMind and its providers are not liable for reliance on AI outputs.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, PetroMind and its partners shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Liability is capped at amounts paid by the user in the preceding 12 months.

10. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless PetroMind, its affiliates, and staff from claims or damages arising from service misuse, policy breaches, or legal violations.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Major changes will be communicated through email or in-app notifications. Continued use indicates acceptance.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of PetroMind’s operating jurisdiction. Disputes will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction unless otherwise required by law.

13. Miscellaneous

• Severability: If any provision is deemed invalid, the rest remain enforceable.
• Entire Agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the full agreement.
